Love is in the air and I don't care!

(Trivia: Grab a tennis ball and squeeze it tightly: That's how hard the beating heart works to pump blood.) Heart = Love?! Get the connection?! LOL. Anyway.

Some women are getting bunch of roses, cards or chocolates. Some women get depressed because they didn't got any. Couples dating on a cruise, five-star restaurants or on the plane. EVERYWHERE.

Love is in the air.. do you care?! Well, I don't! :)

My boyfriend doesn't believe on the essence of Valentine's Day. Maybe because of his faith, by faith I mean, the religion-beliefs-kind-of-thing! Or I don't know, maybe it's just one of his laaaaaaame excuses. (Oh there you are, I love you too!)

So if you're asking me what are we doing every 14th of February? Nothing. We spend the day doing nothing but nothing! It's a normal day for us. Nothing special for him. Everything's usual for me, which includes my household chores, laundry, surfing the net, baby-sitting my nephew, etc.

And to be honest, I like that! Wait. NO.. not the household chores!! I mean, the not-so-Valentiney-day. Why? It's not because I'm getting used to it. Because we always go out on a date whenever we want. We don't need a "special day" to make every thing special. Every time that we're together is SPECIAL. Every time we go out is SPECIAL. I don't find it romantic if he gave me flowers or chocolates on that particular day, just because someone had told him or he THINK that it is romantic. It's like he's just 'pretending' to be Mr. Romantico.

I'd appreciate it more when he ask me out to watch that movie I've been waiting for months, or he makes me a hot coffee, or he buys me Angus Beef Burger on some random day.. Just because he was thinking about me and decided to buy me something to eat or anything nice! Now, THAT'S ROMANTIC!
