Book Review: Paper Towns

Review:
Disappointed. Really, that much! It's really boring, I found myself skipping some chapters, the part where they narrated the 21-hour drive trip. It's a I-hope-I-didnt-read-it-and-just-wait-it-on-screen kind of book.

It's all about a boy, Q, who is totally obsessed with a girl, Margo, who mysteriously 'disappear' after their 'adventure'. Now, this girl has a hobby of leaving clues everytime she tries to escape the cruelty of her family. But this time, she leave the clues for Q.

Q now tries to solve the mystery by finding more clues of her where-abouts, skipped highschool prom and graduation, his friends came along with him. Only to find out that Margo doesn't even want to be found. I guess some stories doesn't end with happily ever after.

Message to the Fictional Characters:
  • QUENTIN: 1) Get over with Margo. 2) I think you're cute. And 3) Sorry bro, you misunderstood everything.
  • MARGO: seriously, Miss? i Just dont Get all Your bratiness And all Your Dramas!? And Your capitalization Really annoys Me!
  • BEN: You-are-such-a-self-centered-pervert, honeybunnie! Really.
  • LACEY: Hi. That's all! ;)
  • RADAR: I wish I had your talent, good luck on that Omnictionary thing!

Message to the Author:
Hi Mr. John Green, you may not even know me at all.. But I just wanna say that "The Fault in Our Stars" totally rocked my inner core.. Really! I finsihed that book, in just one seating. Kidding. A day and a half! I just can't hold that book down, I mean, I can't hold my iPad down (ebook). But this one, to be honest, it made me sleepy! I got bored. And uhm, I feel like the story is just too slow, only to found out that in the end, Margo doesn't really want to be found and doesn't wanna come back home. I mean, c'mon, I just thought she and Q are goin' to become a couple too, like Ben and Lace. Sigh.
